My Story

My purpose on this earth is to create music and share it with others in whatever ways I can.

Jackie Rose is a vocalist, pianist, songwriter, session musician, and live music curator performing across Florida, Nashville, and the Baltimore–Washington region. Her work spans jazz clubs, songwriter rounds, private events, piano bars, and collaborative live productions, blending deep musical training with warmth, versatility, and connection.

Raised in a highly musical family, Jackie began playing piano at an early age under the guidance of her mother and studied violin and voice throughout childhood. She spent years performing and competing in classical piano, opera, musical theater, and chamber music before earning degrees in Piano Performance, Vocal Performance, and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Her classical background continues to shape her musicianship, but her current work is deeply rooted in jazz, songwriting, improvisation, and collaborative performance. Jackie has performed at jazz clubs and venues around the country, worked as a bandleader and music director for live productions and events, and regularly collaborates with a wide network of musicians across genres and ensemble styles.

Alongside her live performance work, Jackie writes and records original music in Nashville and is currently completing a master’s degree in songwriting and composition through Berklee College of Music. As both a performer and collaborator, she is especially drawn to music that feels emotionally honest, improvisational, and deeply human.

A growing part of Jackie’s work centers around musical event curation; thoughtfully shaping the sound, flow, energy, and ensemble for gatherings ranging from intimate dinners and cocktail hours to large-scale celebrations and live productions. Drawing from her experience as a performer, bandleader, and collaborator, she loves bringing together the right musicians and musical moments to create experiences that feel cohesive, elevated, and alive.

Whether performing solo, leading an ensemble, serving as a music director, or helping shape the overall musical vision for an event, Jackie approaches each project with musical depth, adaptability, and a strong sense of collaboration.
